IFRS consolidation software
IFRS group reporting with the mechanics automated and the judgement left to you.
Conso 360 handles the repeatable parts of an IFRS consolidation: scope and ownership, uniform group mapping, foreign currency translation, intragroup eliminations and non-controlling interests. Your reporting team keeps the decisions that IFRS leaves to professional judgement.
Built for: IFRS reporting managers, group accountants, finance directors and accounting advisory firms.
Mapped to IFRS consolidation steps
- IFRS 10: control-based scope and full consolidation
- IAS 21: translation of foreign operations
- Elimination of intragroup balances and investments
- Non-controlling interests in equity and profit
- IAS 28: equity method for associates
IFRS consolidation requirements
IFRS asks for a consistent, documented group process, not just a sum of entity accounts.
Subsidiaries often report under local GAAP and local charts of accounts. Turning that into IFRS group statements means repeating the same consolidation procedures every period, and being able to show the auditor how each one was applied.
Uniform accounting policies
IFRS 10 requires consolidated statements to use uniform policies, so local balances must be mapped and adjusted consistently.
Foreign operations
IAS 21 translation uses different rates for assets, liabilities, income and equity, and the differences belong in other comprehensive income.
Intragroup transactions
Intragroup balances, income and expenses must be eliminated in full, which requires both sides to agree.
Changing ownership
Acquisitions, disposals and changes in ownership interest affect scope, non-controlling interests and equity.
IFRS-relevant capabilities
Consolidation procedures your team can apply the same way every period.
Conso 360 does not decide how a standard applies to your group. It gives you a structured place to apply your conclusions consistently.
Scope based on your control assessment
Record ownership and the consolidation method for each entity and period: full consolidation for subsidiaries, equity method for associates, proportional where you choose to use it.
Local GAAP to group basis
Keep local balances separate, map them to a group chart and record reclassifications and policy alignment entries as identifiable adjustments.
IAS 21-style translation
Translate with closing rates for balance sheet items, average rates for income and expenses and historical rates for equity, with the differences posted to a translation reserve.
Intragroup eliminations
Eliminate intercompany balances against control accounts and investments against subsidiary equity on every run.
Non-controlling interests
Allocate equity and profit to non-controlling interests for subsidiaries that are less than wholly owned, and apply the equity method to associates.
Group statement layouts
Build balance sheet and income statement layouts on your group chart and review each entity's contribution next to the consolidated total.
Example: a quarter-end IFRS close
How a group with a non-euro subsidiary closes the quarter.
A euro-reporting parent with a subsidiary in another currency follows these steps.
-
01
Confirm scope
Review ownership and methods for the period, including any change in interest during the quarter.
-
02

Import local trial balances and map them to the group chart; check unmapped accounts.
-
03
Align policies
Post the policy alignment and reclassification adjustments your team has determined.
-
04
Consolidate
Run translation, eliminations, non-controlling interests and equity pickup.
-
05
Review and report
Analyse equity and NCI movements, and prepare statements and notes from the consolidated figures.
Product interface
Translation differences you can explain line by line.
Each account carries a rate type, so the translation reserve can be explained from the rates and balances that produced it.
Subsidiary B · translation to EUR
Illustrative example| Account group | Local amount | Rate type | Rate | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Property, plant and equipment | SEK 9,800 | Closing | 11.45 | 856 |
| Revenue | SEK 14,200 | Average | 11.30 | 1,257 |
| Share capital | SEK 5,000 | Historical | 10.20 | 490 |
| Translation difference | — | To OCI | — | −46 |
Translation differences are posted to the currency translation reserve, separately from profit or loss.
Where professional judgement is still needed
Software applies your conclusions. It does not make them.
Conso 360 is not certified against IFRS and does not validate that your consolidated statements comply with the standards. Several areas need qualified judgement and documentation from your team or your advisers.
- Assessing control, joint control and significant influence under IFRS 10, IFRS 11 and IAS 28.
- Business combination accounting under IFRS 3, including goodwill and purchase price allocation, which are recorded as group adjustments.
- Determining functional currencies and deciding which rate approximations are acceptable.
- Choosing and aligning accounting policies, and preparing the disclosures and notes.
Evidence for review
Show your auditor how the group numbers were produced.
Keep the consolidation inputs, settings and adjustments in one system instead of a set of linked workbooks.
-
Separated adjustments
Group adjustments are kept in their own batches with draft and posted status, apart from local data.
-
Validation before consolidation
Run configurable checks with tolerances and stop the run when exchange rates or settings are missing.
-
Versioned settings
Changes to consolidation settings, scope and manual journal entries are recorded with timestamps.
-
Equity and NCI analysis
Analysis reports break down movements in equity and non-controlling interests by company.
Frequently asked questions
Does Conso 360 make our consolidated statements IFRS compliant?
No software can do that by itself. Conso 360 applies the consolidation procedures you configure: scope, mapping, translation, eliminations and NCI. Compliance depends on the judgements, policies and disclosures your team and auditors are responsible for.
How does Conso 360 support IFRS 10?
You record ownership and the consolidation method for each entity and period. Subsidiaries you have concluded are controlled are fully consolidated, intragroup balances and investments are eliminated, and non-controlling interests are calculated. The control assessment itself remains yours.
How is foreign currency translation handled?
Each account is assigned a closing, average or historical rate type. Balances are translated with the rates for the period, and the resulting differences are posted to a currency translation reserve, in line with the IAS 21 approach for foreign operations.
Can subsidiaries keep reporting under local GAAP?
Yes. Local balances are imported or transferred as they are, mapped to the group chart and adjusted to group policies through separate, identifiable adjustments.
Are IFRS statement templates included?
Report layouts are defined on your group chart of accounts. We can help you set up IFRS-style balance sheet and income statement layouts during onboarding, but the presentation and notes remain your decision.
